Why did you start Taekwondo?
Mum started me in TKD when we moved to Goulburn in 2015, I was 8yrs old. I was looking for a new sport and I liked the thought of a martial arts.
What you enjoy about training?
I like meeting and helping new students plus having friendships that are strong and supportive. Training itself, I love sparring and breaks.
What are your future goals?
Hopefully to compete in another World Championships and meet more like minded people. I am looking at other local tournaments to increase my experience and knowledge.
My highlights over the last 5 years included:
o Achieving my Black Belt in July 2019
o My first local competition (I was a Yellow Belt) and I got my first medal for 1st place in sparring
o World Championships in March 2019 when I got a Bronze for my age and weight division in sparring
