2018 Wrap Up

It’s been a huge year at Goulburn Martial Arts Academy!

The year started off with The CHITF SGM Phap Lu Seminar with a number of members attending.  The seminar was a huge success with all the members gaining a deeper knowledge of TaeKwonDo. It was also a great opportunity to meet new friends and we were also treated with a wonderful presentation of the CHITF World Championships Melbourne 2019.

Through  out the year we were asked to assist in a number of community events with demonstrations. We assisted fundraising for the cancer council, with relay for life ball and relay for life event.

We had a number of competitors challenge themselves at competitions through TaeKwonDo, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA.

We have enjoyed a number of new members at the academy and have watched them develop into martial artists.

We have had our most successful year in way of gradings with new black belts in the TaeKwonDo ranks, and our largest bjj coloured belt grading to date.

I look forward to see what 2019 has to offer for our club. As we turn our direction to teaching new members in martial arts, successful competitions and new levels of understanding.

See you on the mats.
